  • 我吃素,不吃肉。
    wǒ chī sù , bù chī ròu 。
    I am vegetarian and do no eat meat.

  • 我不是老板,他才是。
    wǒ bù shì lǎo bǎn , tā cái shì 。
    I’m not not the boss. He is.

  • 吴方不在家。
    wú fāng bù zài jiā 。
    Wu Fang is not home.

  • 这个超市的东西不少,价钱也不贵。
    zhè gè chāo shì de dōng xi bù shǎo , jià qián yě bù guì 。
    This supermarket has a wide variety of merchandise. The prices are inexpensive.

  • 我不会抽烟,也不会喝酒。
    wǒ bù huì chōu yān , yě bù huì hē jiǔ 。
    I do not smoke, nor do I drink.

  • 现在哪也买不到这个玩意儿。
    xiàn zài nǎ yě mǎi bù dào zhè gè wán yìr 。
    This stuff can be bought nowhere now.

  • 他是独生子,没有兄弟姐妹。
    tā shì dú shēng zi , méi yǒu xiōng dì jiě mèi 。
    He’s the only son of the family and hasn’t any other brothers nor sisters.

    Not all the apples are rotten. Some of them are still good.

    má fán nǐ zhuǎn gào liú lǎo shī , wǒ míng tiān yǒu shì bù néng qù shàng kè le 。
    Would you please tell Mr. Liu I can’t go to class tomorrow?
  • 请你转告小王,叫他回来后给我打电话。
    qǐng nǐ zhuǎn gào xiǎo wáng , jiào tā huí lái hòu gěi wǒ dǎ diàn huà 。
