To pay for his education, a poor boy used to sell goods from door to door. One day, the young boy found he was really hungry but had no money to buy any food. He decided to ask for something to eat when he knocked on the front door of the next house.
A beautiful young woman opened the door, and the boy lost his nerve. He simply asked for a drink of water, too embarrassed to ask for food. The young woman brought him a glass of milk, which the boy greedily drank.
The boy asked her how much he owed, but she simply smiled and said her mother had taught her to be kind to others and never expect anything in return.
The young boy left the woman’s home with a full tummy and a heart full of renewed strength to push on with his education and continue working hard. Just when he was ready to quit, the woman had instilled in him newfound faith and fortitude.
Years later, in a big city, renowned surgeon Dr. Howard Kelly was called to consult on a woman who was suffering from a rare disease. When the woman told him the name of the small town where she lived, Dr. Kelly felt a faint memory arise in his mind, and then suddenly recognition dawned on him. She was the woman who had given him the glass of milk many years ago.
The doctor went on to provide the woman with the very best care and made sure she received special attention. In fact, it was his skills as a doctor that saved her life.
After a long and difficult hospitalization, the woman was finally ready for discharge home. The woman was worried it would take her years to settle her account with the hospital. Her serious illness and long hospital stay had produced a substantial bill. However, when she received the bill, she found that Dr. Kelly had paid the entire bill himself and written a small note for her.
The note simply stated: Paid in full with a glass of milk.

One day a professor entered the classroom and told the students about a surprise test. After hearing that all students were seated and waited for the test to begin. Now, the professor gave the test papers to all students with text facing down at the desk. Once he was done with handing out the test to all students, he asked them to turn the test pages and begin.
Student’s were confused to see that there was not a question but just a black dot in the center of the page. The professor noticed the students’ face expression and told them, “I want you to write about what you see there.”
The students were still confused but got started with the test. At the end of the class, the professor took all answer sheets and started reading each answer from each sheet in front of all students. All of them described about the black dot and tried to explain its position etc.. After the professor finished reading the whole class was silent.
Now, professor began to explain, “Don’t worry, I am not going to give you grades for this but I just want you to think about something. Here everyone focused on the black dot wrote about it but no one wrote about the white paper, the same is with our lives. The white paper represents our whole life and the black spot represents problems in our life.
Our life is a gift given to us by God, with love and care, and we always have reasons to celebrate –our friends around us, the job that provides us our livelihood, the miracles we see everyday.
Still we just focus on day to day problems like health issues, lack of money, problems in relationships etc. but we never see that these problems are very small compared to everything we have in our lives.”
Moral Lesson: We should try to take eyes off our problems and Enjoy each one of our blessings, Each moment that life gives us. Be happy and Live Life Positively.

HandEnergy is an ingenious apple-sized device that charges your phone anytime, anywhere. But what really makes this thing special is the fact that it uses your own personal energy to do it.

In a time where power-banks and solar-power devices have become mainstream, a device that lets you charge gadgets on the go doesn’t sound very special. But while power-banks have to be charged the old fashioned way, and solar panels need the sun to store energy, HandEnergy just needs a hand. To get this little guy to produce energy, which it then stores in built-in batteries, all you have to do is hold it in your hand and rotate your wrists.

To use HandEnergy, users start by winding a starter ring. This transmits a signal to activate the rotor, at which point they can start rotating their wrists to keep the rotor spinning. It might sound hard to believe, but the rotor inside HandEnergy spins at an average speed of 5,000 rotations per minute, transmitting mechanical power to create an electric current, and charging the built-in batteries. To charge a device, all you have to do is hook it up to HandEnergy using a USB cable.

HandEnergy was successfully crowdfunded on Kickstarter, raising over $71,000 in one month, and will be available for the masses in May 2017, at a price of 99 euros. One thing is for sure – it beats paying thousands of dollars on a solar-powered gadget-charging coat.

Is your makeup making you look older?

-How foundation, bronzer and eyeshadow could be adding YEARS to your face.

• Makeup artists have shared the classic errors that women make

• Top tips include never applying mascara to your lower lashline

• You should also avoid contouring and glittery eyeshadow completely

Whether it’s the way you apply blusher or how much mascara you lash on, makeup artists say that women make common mistakes every single day that could cause them to look years older.

Celebrity make-up artist, Mikey Phillips, says the most ageing thing a woman can do is apply a mismatched concealer – either one that is too light or too dark.

Sharing his advice for the most youthful application, he said: ‘Match it to your skin tone and use a little and blend into the skin. Always be sure to steer well clear of cakey, dry formulations and opt for a light reflecting, hydrating one.’

Another majorly ageing mistake is to overdo it with the blusher – especially very bold red hues. Instead, opt for a peachy hue and only apply it along the cheekbones – never the apples of the cheeks.

When it comes to foundation, blending is key because you want to ensure the creams don’t sit in your fine lines and emphasise them even more.

If lipstick is a makeup favourite in your later years, always line the lips before applying any colour.

As you mature, thin lines can develop around the mouth. Liner will lock in the colour all throughout the day, ensuring a perfectly precise pout.

When it comes to eyebrows, take note from Cara Delevingne, who proves that thick and healthy brows can transform the face.

If a pencil is making the brows a little too severe, opt for a waxy palette with a small angle-tip brush. Define the arch and subtly shade in any sparse areas for a youthful, full look.

Mikey shares plenty of other top anti-ageing tips, including never applying mascara to your lower lashline, avoiding contouring completely and shunning eyeshadows with glittery tones in them.

The Truth Is, I Don’t ‘Have It All Together’
Recently I have had a few friends and family members comment to me, ‘you seem to always have it all together.’
I want people, especially other moms out there to know that: I try, but the truth is, I don’t ‘have it all together.’
In today’s world, so many parents think they need to live up to a stereotype that in my personal opinion, completely hinders our abilities to enjoy the true meaning of life.
So in honor of my photos of my beautiful 4 children and endless built up laundry, it’s OK.
It’s ok to have laundry piled to the ceiling, it’s ok to have dishes backed up in your sink, it’s ok for your house to not look like a show home on a daily basis.
We all do it. Whether we admit it or not, just know when you feel overwhelmed, you are not alone.
You are doing your best, so keep doing it.
The happiness you bring to your children is not measured by what you own, what you buy, or what your house looks like on a daily basis.
Happiness ismeasured by the time spent and memories made with your children and your family.
Don’t ever forget that, don’t ever forget to actually love what matters.

This friend of mine had a kid, and it was a home birth, so he was there helping out and everything.

And he said at that profound moment of birth, he was watching this child, experiencing life for the first time, I mean, trying to take its first breath.
All he could think about was that he was looking at something that was gonna die someday.
He just couldn’t get it out of his head.
And I think that’s so true. You know, everything is so finite.
But don’t you think that’s what makes our time and specific moments so important?
Yeah, I know.
It’s the same for us tonight, though.
After tomorrow morning, we’ll probably never see each other again, right?
You don’t think we’ll ever see each other again?
What do you think? Well, gosh, I don’t know.
I hadn’t planned another… Me too. I mean I live in Paris, you live in the U.S.I totally understand.I’d hate to make you fly. You’d hate to fly, right?
I’m not so scared of flying. I mean, I could.
