唯命是從

春秋時期,南方的楚國逐步強盛起來,到楚莊王在位時,就開始圖謀中原,取代周王朝的統治。有一次,楚莊王率軍到達周朝都城洛邑(今河南洛陽)郊外,在此舉行盛大的閱兵儀式,向周天子炫耀楚國的武力,並向周朝大夫王孫滿詢問九鼎的輕重,遭到了王孫滿一頓奚落。九鼎是傳國寶器,代表著中央政權的權威。楚莊王問鼎,表示想要以楚代周。

到楚靈王時,仍然企圖取代周朝。有一次,楚靈王外出打獵,夜宿在外,又想起了九鼎的事。他對晚上來求見的右尹子革說:“過去我們祖上和齊、衛、晉、魯四國共同服侍周康王,四國都被賜予寶器,唯獨我們楚國沒有。現在我想派人去週天子那裡,請求把鼎作為對我們楚國的賞賜,你說周天子願意給我們嗎?”

右尹子革回答道:“當然會給您啊!當年我們的先王跋山涉水去侍奉週天子,只能用桃木弓、棗木箭來進貢。齊、衛、晉、魯四國的諸侯王都與週天子有點親戚關係,所以楚國因此沒有得到賞賜而他們有。現在的情況是周朝和四國都順服侍奉您了,不管什麼事情,都會唯命是從,難道周天子還會愛惜這鼎嗎?”其實右尹子革這是討好楚靈王,九鼎最終也沒有落到楚國手裡。

後來,人們引用“唯命是從”作為成語,指只要是命令都無條件地絕對服從。唯,只;從,服從。

Wéi mìng shì cóng

Yǒu yīcì, chu líng wáng wàichū dǎliè, yè sù zàiwài, yòu xiǎngqǐle jiǔdǐng de shì. Tā duì wǎnshàng lái qiú jiàn de yòu yǐnzigé shuō:“Guòqù wǒmen zǔshàng hé qí, wèi, jìn, lǔ sì guó gòngtóng fúshi zhōu kāngwáng, sì guó dū bèi cìyǔ bǎo qì, wéi dú wǒmen chu guó méiyǒu. Xiànzài wǒ xiǎng pài rén Qù zhōu tiānzǐ nàlǐ, qǐngqiú bǎ dǐng zuòwéi duì wǒmen chu guó de shǎngcì, nǐ shuō zhōu tiānzǐ yuànyì gěi wǒmen ma?” Yòu yǐnzigé huídá dào:“Dāngrán huì gěi nín a! Dāngnián wǒmen de xiānwáng báshānshèshuǐ qù shìfèng zhōu tiānzǐ, zhǐ néng yòng táomù gōng, zǎo mù jiàn lái jìngòng. Qí, wèi, jìn, lǔ sì guó de zhūhóu wáng dōu yǔ zhōu tiānzǐ Yǒudiǎn qīnqi guānxì, suǒyǐ chu guó yīncǐ méiyǒu dédào shǎngcì ér tāmen yǒu. Xiànzài de qíngkuàng shì zhōu cháo hé sì guó dū shùnfú shi fèng nínle, bùguǎn shénme shìqíng, dūhuì wéi mìng shì cóng, nándào zhōu tiānzǐ hái huì àixī zhè dǐng ma? ” Qíshí yòu yǐnzigé zhè shì tǎohǎo chu líng wáng, jiǔdǐng zuìzhōng yě méiyǒu luò dào chu guó shǒu li. Hòulái, rénmen yǐnyòng “wéi mìng shì cóng” zuòwéi chéngyǔ, zhǐ zhǐyào shi mìnglìng dōu wútiáojiàn dì juéduì fúcóng. Wéi, zhǐ; cóng, fúcóng.

行將就木

重耳是春秋時晉獻公的大兒子,因為晉獻公寵愛妃子驪姬,驪姬想把自己生的兒子奚齊立為太子,於是她接二連三地設下陰謀,陷害太子申生和公子重耳、夷吾。後來申生被逼死,重耳和夷吾先後逃奔出國。

重耳帶著許多忠心的臣子一起流亡外國。他們先逃到晉國北方的狄國,在那裡住下來。狄國人攻打一個少數民族部落的時候,俘獲了這個部落的兩個姑娘叔隗和季隗,把她倆送給重耳。重耳娶了叫季隗的姑娘,生了伯鰷(tiáo)和叔劉兩個孩子。就這樣,他在狄國生活了十二年。

這期間晉獻公死了,太子奚齊也被大臣里克所殺。在外逃亡的夷吾繼任為國君,即晉惠公。晉惠公一上任,他最害怕的事情就是重耳回來奪他的君位,於是他派人去狄國刺殺重耳。無奈,重耳又要繼續逃亡了。臨行時,重耳向季隗告別道:“你等我二十五年,那時我如果還不回來,你就改嫁吧!”季隗流著眼淚答道:“我今年已二十五歲了,再過二十五年,就是五十歲了,已經行將就木了,還嫁什麼人,請容許我始終等您吧。”重耳依依不捨地告別了妻子。後來,他終於又回到晉國,並成為了一代霸主——晉文公。

“行將就木”是指人壽命已經不長,快要進棺材了。行將,將要;木,指棺材。

Xíngjiāngjiùmù

Zhòng’ěr shì chūnqiū shí jìn xiàn gōng de dà érzi, yīnwèi jìn xiàn gōng chǒng’ài fēizi lí jī, lí jī xiǎng bǎ zìjǐ shēng de érzi xīqílì wèi tàizǐ, yúshì tā jiē’èrliánsān dì shè xià yīnmóu, xiànhài tàizǐ shēn shēng hé gōngzǐ zhòng’ěr, yíwú. Hòulái shēn shēng bèi bī sǐ, zhòng’ěr hé yíwú xiānhòu táobèn chūguó. Zhòng’ěr dàizhe xǔduō zhōngxīn de chénzǐ yīqǐ liúwáng wàiguó. Tāmen xiān táo dào jìn guó běifāng de dí guó, zài nàlǐ zhù xiàlái. Zhè qíjiān jìn xiàn gōng sǐle, tàizǐ xī qí yě bèi dàchén lǐ kè suǒ shā. Zàiwài táowáng de yíwú jìrèn wèi guójūn, jí jìn huì gōng. Jìn huì gōng yī shàngrèn, tā zuì hàipà de shìqíng jiùshì zhòng’ěr huílái duó tā de jūn wèi, yúshì tā pài rén qù dí guó cìshā zhòng’ěr. Wúnài, zhòng’ěr yòu yào jìxù táowángle. Lín xíng shí, zhòng’ěr xiàng jì kuí gàobié dào:“Nǐ děng wǒ èrshíwǔ nián, nà shí wǒ rúguǒ hái bù huílái, nǐ jiù gǎijià ba!” Jì kuí liú zhuó yǎnlèi dá dào:“Wǒ jīnnián yǐ èrshíwǔ suì Le, zàiguò èrshíwǔ nián, jiùshì wǔshí suìle, yǐjīng xíngjiāngjiùmùle, hái jià shénme rén, qǐng róngxǔ wǒ shǐzhōng děng nín ba.” Zhòng’ěr yīyī bù shě de gàobiéle qīzi. Hòulái, tā zhōngyú yòu huí dào jìn guó, bìng chéngwéile yīdài bàzhǔ——jìn wéngōng. “Xíngjiāngjiùmù” shì zhǐ rén shòumìng yǐjīng bù cháng, kuàiyào jìn guāncaile. Xíng jiāng, jiāngyào; mù, zhǐ guāncai.

“Xī jū”

【註解】:

1、簪組:這裡是做官的意思。

2、南夷:這裡指當時南方的少數民族地區。

3、滴:流放。

4、夜榜:夜航。

5、楚天:永州古屬楚地。

[Zhùjiě]:

1, Zān zǔ: Zhèlǐ shì zuò guān de yìsi.

2, Nán yí: Zhèlǐ zhǐ dāngshí nánfāng de shǎoshù mínzú dìqū.

3, Dī: Liúfàng.

4, Yè bǎng: Yè háng.

5, Chu tiān: Yǒngzhōu gǔ shǔ chu dì.

【評析】:

這首詩是柳宗元貶官永州居處冉溪之畔時的作品。全詩寫謫居佳境,苟得自由,獨往獨來,偷安自幸。前四句敘述到這裡的原因和自己的行徑。後四句敘述自己早晚的行動。首尾四句隱含有牢騷之意。

“閒依農圃鄰”、有“採菊東籬下”之概;“曉耕翻露草”,有“晨興理荒廢”之風。沈德潛評說:“愚溪諸詠,處連蹇困厄之境,發清夷淡泊之音,不怨而怨,怨而不怨,行間言外,時或遇之。”(《唐詩別裁集》卷四)這是很有見地的。

Chéndéqián píngshuō:“Yú xī zhū yǒng, chù lián jiǎn kùn’è zhī jìng, fā qīng yí dànbó zhī yīn, bù yuàn ér yuàn, yuàn ér bù yuàn, hángjiān yán wài, shí huò yù zhī.”(“Tángshī bié cái jí” Juǎn sì) zhè shì hěn yǒu jiàndì de.

Recent evidence suggests that an infant is born with the capacity to speak. What is special about Man‘s brain,compared with that of the monkey,is the complex system which enables a child to connect the sight and feel of,say,a teddy-bear with the sound pattern ’teddy-bear‘。 And even more incredible is the young brain’s ability to pick out an order in language from the hubbub of sound around him,to analyze,to combine and recombine the parts of a language in novel ways.
But speech has to be triggered,and this depends on interaction between the mother and the child,where the mother recognizes the cues and signals in the child‘s babbling,clinging, grasping,crying,smiling,and responds to them. Insensitivity of the mother to these signals dulls the interaction because the child gets discouraged and sends out only the obvious signals. Sensitivity to the child’s non-verbal cues is essential to the growth and development of language.
近來有證據表明,嬰兒生來就具有講話能力。人的大腦與猿猴的大腦相比,就在於它是一套複雜的系統,比如說,能使嬰兒在見到或摸到玩具熊時,把“玩具熊”與這個詞的音聯車在一起,甚至更加不可思義的是,幼小的腦子能從周圍的喧囂聲中聽出語言表達的某種命令,用種種新奇的方式對某個語言的成份進行分析、組合以及重新組合。

尾大不掉

春秋時期,楚靈王把軍隊的指揮權交給了他的弟弟公子棄疾。公子棄疾南征北戰,建立了不少的軍功。為了表彰棄疾建立的功勳,楚靈王把蔡國的大部分土地賜給他,並且封他為蔡公。但是過了不久,楚靈王又感到不太放心,特地派人把大夫申無宇請進宮來請教。

楚靈王問申無宇說:“我把棄疾封為蔡公,你怎麼看?”申無宇說:“國君是不應當把親近的人封在外面的,因為日子一久,他的力量大大發展,就會威脅國家。俗話說:樹枝大了一定會折斷,尾巴大了就不能搖動,這個道理,您一定是知道的。(原文是:’末大必折,尾大不掉,君所知也。’)”

申無宇走後,靈王又仔細地想了一下。他認為公子棄疾是自己最寵信的弟弟,一向很忠順;又屢次為國家建立了功勳,受到特殊的封賞,肯定不會背叛自己,因此,就沒有接受申無宇的意見。沒過幾年,棄疾勢力越來越大,果然起兵反叛了楚靈王,楚靈王沒有辦法,只好上吊自殺了。公子棄疾當上了國君,這就是後來的楚平王。

後來,人們就總結出“尾大不掉”作為成語,用來比喻部下勢力非常強大,不聽從上級的調動和指揮。現在多用來比喻機構龐大,指揮不靈。掉,搖動。

Wěidàbùdiào

Chūnqiū shíqí, chu líng wáng bǎ jūnduì de zhǐhuī quán jiāo gěile tā de dìdì gōngzǐ qì jí. Gōngzǐ qì jí nán zhēng běi zhàn, jiàn lì liǎo bù shǎo de jūngōng. Wèile biǎozhāng qì jí jiànlì de gōngxūn, chu líng wáng bǎ cài guó de dà bùfèn tǔdì cì gěi tā, bìngqiě fēng tā wèi cài gōng. Dàn shì guò liǎo bùjiǔ, chu líng wáng yòu gǎndào bù tài fàngxīn, tèdì pài rén bǎ dàfū shēnwúyǔ qǐng jìn gōng lái qǐngjiào. Chu líng wáng wèn shēnwúyǔ shuō:“Wǒ bǎ qì jí fēng wèi cài gōng, nǐ zěnme kàn?” Shēnwúyǔ shuō:“Guójūn shì bù yìng dāng bǎ qīnjìn de rén fēng zài wàimiàn de, yīnwèi rìzi yījiǔ, tā de lìliàng dàdà fāzhǎn, jiù Huì wēixié guójiā. Sú huàshuō: Shùzhī dàle yīdìng huì zhéduàn, wěiba dàle jiù bùnéng yáodòng, zhège dàolǐ, nín yīdìng shì zhīdào de.(Yuánwén shì:’Mò dà bì zhé, wěidàbùdiào, jūn suǒ zhī yě.’)” Shēnwúyǔ zǒu hòu, líng wáng yòu zǐxì de xiǎngle yīxià. Tā rènwéi gōngzǐ qì jí shì zìjǐ zuì chǒngxìn de dìdì, yīxiàng hěn zhōngshùn; yòu lǚcì wèi guójiā jiànlìle gōngxūn, shòudào tèshū de fēngshǎng, kěndìng bù huì bèipàn zìjǐ, yīncǐ, jiù méiyǒu jiēshòu shēnwúyǔ de yìjiàn. Méiguò jǐ nián, qì jí shìlì yuè lái yuè dà, guǒrán qǐbīng fǎnpànle chu líng wáng, chu líng wáng méiyǒu bànfǎ, zhǐhǎo shàngdiào zìshāle. Gōngzǐ qì jí dāng shàngle guójūn, zhè jiùshì hòulái de chu píngwáng. Hòulái, rénmen jiù zǒngjié chū “wěidàbùdiào” zuòwéi chéngyǔ, yòng lái bǐyù bùxià shìlì fēicháng qiángdà, bù tīngcóng shàngjí de diàodòng hé zhǐhuī. Yī wèi jīngtōng yàopǐn màoyì de shāngwù gùwèn céngjīng gàosu wǒ, yǒu xǔduō yīshēng, yáyī hé ànmó shī shēnghuó jiéjū. Yǐqián wǒ zǒng yǐwéi tāmen yī bìyè, cáiyuán biàn huì gǔngǔn ér lái. Zhè wèi shāngwù gùwèn gàosule wǒ yījù huà:“Lí fā dà cái, tāmen hái chà yī xiàng jìnéng.” Zhè jù huà de yìsi shì shuō, dà bùfèn rén hái xū duō xuéxí bìng zhǎngwò yī xiàng jìnéng, tāmen de shōurù cáinéng chéng Zhǐshù bèi zēngzhǎng.

“Jì quán jiāo shānzhōng dàoshi”

Jīnzhāo jùn zhāi lěng, hū niàn shānzhōng kè.

 Jiàn dǐ shù jīng xīn, guīlái zhǔ báishí.

Yù shì yī piáo jiǔ, yuǎn wèi fēngyǔ xī.

Luòyè mǎn kōngshān, hé chù xún xíngjì.

  【註解】:

1、郡齋:指滁州刺史官署中的齋舍。

2、白石:這裡借喻全椒道士,說他生活的清苦。

[Zhùjiě]:

1, Jùn zhāi: Zhǐ chúzhōu cìshǐ guānshǔ zhōng de zhāi shě.

2, Báishí: Zhèlǐ jièyù quán jiāo dàoshi, shuō tā shēnghuó de qīngkǔ.

 【評析】:

這首寄贈詩,是透露對山中道士的憶念之情。首句既寫出郡齋之“冷”,更是寫詩人心頭之“冷”。再寫道士在山中苦煉修行,想送一瓢酒去,好讓老友在秋風冷雨的夜中,得以安慰,又怕落葉滿山,尋不到他。

全詩語言平淡無奇,然感情跳盪反复,形象鮮明自然。 “落葉滿空山,何處尋行跡”句,也確是詩中絕唱。宋蘇東坡頗愛此詩,並刻意學之,步其韻為之“寄語庵中人,飛空本無跡”。然終不如韋應物之句。 《許彥周詩話》評“此非才不逮,蓋絕唱之不當和也。”
[Píngxī]:

Zhèshǒu jìzèng shī, shì tòulù duì shānzhōng dàoshi de yìniàn zhī qíng. Shǒu jù jì xiě chū jùn zhāi zhī “lěng”, gèng shì xiě shī rén xīntóu zhī “lěng”. Zài xiě dàoshi zài shānzhōng kǔ liàn xiūxíng, xiǎng sòng yī piáo jiǔ qù, hǎo ràng lǎo you zài qiūfēng lěng yǔ de yèzhōng, déyǐ ānwèi, yòu pà luòyè mǎn shān, xún bù dào tā. Quán shī yǔyán píngdàn wú qí, rán gǎnqíng tiào dàng fǎnfù, xíngxiàng xiānmíng zìrán. “Luòyè mǎn kōngshān, hé chù xún xíngjì” jù, yě què shì shī zhōng juéchàng. Sòng sūdōngpō pō ài cǐ shī, bìng kèyì xué zhī, bù qí yùn wéi zhī “jìyǔ ān zhōng rén, fēi kōng běn wú jī”. Rán zhōng bùrú wéiyìngwù zhī jù. “Xǔyànzhōu shīhuà” píng “cǐ fēi cái bùdǎi, gài juéchàng zhī bùdāng hé yě.”

The reason so many talented people are poor is because they focus on building a better hamburger and know little or nothing about business systems. The world is filled with talented poor people. All too often, they’re poor or struggle financially or earn less than they are capable of, not because of what they know but because of what they do not know. They focus on perfecting their skills at building a better hamburger rather than the skills of selling and delivering the hamburger.

Shìjiè shàng dàochù dōu shì yǒu cáihuá de qióng rén. Zài hěnduō qíngkuàng xià, tāmen zhī suǒyǐ pínqióng, shēnghuó jiéjū huòzhě shōurù yǔqí nénglì bù xiāngfú, bùshì yīnwèi tāmen yǐ zhī de dōngxi ér shì yīnwèi tāmen wèizhī de dōngxi.
